Ministry in Our Community
It is evidently clear, in the Word of God, that we are called to meet the needs of others. Although our greatest focus is Spiritual, we have also been instructed to 'feed the hungry and clothe the naked.' At Valley Ministries we have a food closet, which contains a supply of food commodities and household supplies. These are distributed to those who are in need by the deacon or the pastor. Weather you are in need, or wish to give supplies to the closet, we encourage you to contact us with any questions at valleyministries@valleyministries.com .The Care Bear Ministry is the fulfillment of a vision belonging to Valley Ministries' first deacon, Jim Metler. Those in the Care Bear Ministry visit the sick and send cards of encouragement and prayer to those who are in need.
Valley Ministries, through its Homeless Backpack program has given hundreds of backpacks, packed with supplies, to the homeless of Lodi and Stockton. We welcom the donation of backpacks and supplies for the packs.
